Create your bibliography at the above site.

Highlight the entry, click on edit, copy.

Open your Word document and click on the paste button.

Save your bibliography.

Click back on the noodletools page and create your next entry.

 

Sorting a Bibliography in Microsoft Word

  1. Type in your bibliography as instructed by teacher. Return only after each bibliography entry (not at the end of each line)
  2. After all entries are typed in, highlight them by dragging the mouse over them all.
  3. Pull down the table menu and choose sort. The sort Text box will appear.
  4. Accept the default Sort by Paragraph, type Text and in ascending order.
  5. Click OK
  6. All Entries will be sorted in alphabetical order by the first word, which should be the authors last name.
  7. You will have to click after each entry and press the enter key once to add a blank line between the entries.
